You probably already know these guys, they have gotten a fair amount of positive attention lately. Not only here in The Netherlands but also internationally, for example this review by Pitchfork. The album (that came out this week) is so good that we had to do a feature on them.
Quick bite of info: Weval are Harm Coolen and Merijn Scholte Albers, two Amsterdam based producers making music together since 2010. “Merijns background is more triphop and rock orientated, Harm is influenced by jazz and house music. Their debut EP “Half Age” was released in 2013, followed by “Easier” EP in 2014. Last year they released the double A-side “It’ll Be Just Fine / Grow Up” which is now followed up by the full selftitled album.
